I logged back to my work computer after being away for a few months of leave. Now VS code is all messed up. I don't see so many options in my socurce control sidebar. I used to do pretty much all my git operations from here.

Tried reinstalling extensions, restarting vscode, fiddeled with the settings, etc.

  • I VSCode is installed by your company, ask them to reinstall. May be an update went wrong. – sweintritt Commented Mar 27 at 8:06

Reset to default 0

First, you need show Changes section by clicking on ... on your source control

after that, in Changes section click on ... you can find may options
