一、前言

博主之前写过一篇博文讲述安装Ubuntu14.04和Windows 7双系统，之前是用EasyBCD从本机硬盘安装，本次安装不能使用EasyBCD完成，原因如下：

With the release of Windows 8 and Windows 10, many new computers are shipping with something known as the UEFI firmware and boot manager in place of the traditional BIOS and MBR approach to starting up your PC. The changes are not small and have had a massive effect on the process of dual-booting on a Windows machine.[1]（即随着Windows 8和Windows 10的发布，新电脑普遍使用UEFI固件进行启动管理，取代了原来的BIOS和MBR，这一变化对Windows机器上安装、启动双系统带来一些麻烦）。


新电脑硬件较新，需要新的驱动支持各项功能的实现，所以选择安装较新的Ubuntu 16.04系统，新电脑安装Ubuntu 16.04系统后出现的主要问题和解决办法见本文第三部分“后续问题”。


二、关键安装过程

本部分主要解决两个问题：

1、改变SATA硬盘工作模式，使用U盘
